So ancient and so widely planted, the Malvasia Bianca grape has become disguised worldwide with many localized names and wine styles. The Malvasia family of wine grapes have a long and storied history in the old world. Between the years 1300 and 1600, Malvasia held the reputation of being Europe’s most famous wine.
Our Malvasia comes from a vineyard near the confluence of Dry Creek and the Russian River just south of Healdsburg.
From our cool climate this wine has fresh aromas of light lemon, honeysuckle and a hint of minerality. The wine is tasting fresh, clean and crisp. $26
