Hill Family

Dennis and Melinda (Langhart) Hill are lifelong residents of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. Dennis grew up on a prune and apple farm in the middle-reach of the Russian River Valley with his parents and two brothers. In the 70's they replaced most of the prunes and apples with wine grapes. Dennis quickly developed a keen interest in high quality grape growing and winemaking. He has recently retired from an acclaimed winemaking career spanning over 45 years. Langhart & Hill Wines is Dennis and Melinda's personal label focused on producing small batches of interesting wines that express the unique quality of vineyard sites throughout Sonoma County.
